With our copper trekking socks made from the finest merino wool and warming copper plush you are perfectly equipped for any weather. Whether on a light hike, long trekking tours, in the high mountains, or on the Way of St. James. The Öko-Tex® certified merino wool inhibits the formation of odors, while the unique fine copper plush sole provides a pleasant, dry feeling of well-being. The high copper content has an antibacterial, circulation-enhancing effect and warms the feet. Copper not only combats bacteria but also fungi, helping to prevent athlete’s foot and nail fungus.
The copper trekking socks are highly durable and comfortable. Padding at the toes and heel prevents pressure points and blisters. The ring bandage stabilizes the ankle and forefoot area and is a must for every athlete.
Since merino wool odor-inhibiting and self-cleaning they are, the socks can be worn for several days – without washing – be worn.

Die Größenspreizung von 39-42 ist zu weit, mein Wert von 40-41 liegt zwar genau in der Mitte, die Socke ist aber im Zehenbereich deutlich zu groß und schiebt sich etwas in den Schuhen, was bei etwas anfordernden Wanderstrecken unangenehm ist. Sonst sehr gut!
Store owner replied: Lieber Franz, die Grössen sind genormt aber je nach Fuss kann die Socke etwas zu gross sein. Bitte 1 x waschen - dann sollte die Socken passen. Bei weiteren Fragen stehen wir gerne zur Verfügung. Lg, Evi & Alex

Why our merino and copper socks are so good for your well-being
Our merino wool socks absorb up to 30% of their own weight in moisture and, thanks to their fine fibers, are much more comfortable to wear than sheep's wool socks.
Combined with the ventilation channels typical of knitted fabrics, reinforced toe and heel areas, and a fluffy merino pile sole, they regulate the climate, keeping your feet dry for longer and at a comfortable temperature.
For even more comfort, we also offer socks without elastic. Socks with copper threads improve circulation and are therefore very popular with athletes and people with cold feet or circulatory problems.
Bolter merino socks are suitable for both women and men. The only differences are the color, material, and size.

How do I properly care for my Bolter Socks?
To ensure your socks last a long time, we recommend:
- Machine wash at a maximum of 30–40 °C
- Do not tumble dry
- Merino products are best dried flat
- Please do not use fabric softener – it can damage the fibers
